Estee Combs is a Licensed Professional Counselor Associate, under the supervision of Katherine Dunham, LPC-S. She was born and raised in Dallas. She earned her bachelor’s degree in Psychology from The University of Oklahoma and graduated from Southern Methodist University earning her master’s in counseling with specialized studies in Expressive and Creative Art Therapies. Estee’s formal education has prepared her to counsel a diverse range of individuals from pre-adolescents to adult populations using creative interventions paired with traditional, research-based approaches and talk therapy.
In her approach to counseling, Estee maintains a client-centered focus that shares her own value for the uniqueness of each person. Inspired through her practice as a yoga student and certified instructor, she aims to view her clients through a holistic lens that considers the many facets of a person and environment when conceptualizing problems, setting goals, or considering diagnosis. She is passionate about connecting with her clients by meeting them where they are and creating a non-judgmental space for self-expression and healing. Her goal is to help people feel safe, seen, and accepted despite their situation. She strives to model seeing her clients authentically with the intention that they, in turn, come to see and accept themselves more deeply. She embodies the role of both walking alongside you in your growth journey while also championing your ability to bring about desired change in your own life when given the proper tools. She aims to be a person of support, to provide new coping strategies, and to identify and remove current barriers that may be in the way of the change you hope to see.

In her spare time, you can find Estee leading a vinyasa flow yoga class, spending time outdoors in nature, or competing in deep sea fishing competitions with her dad (ask her about her two world records!) Channeling these positive experiences, she aims to inspire others to find their own therapeutic outlet and purse the things the set their heart on fire.

Estee looks forward to the opportunity to work together!
