Kelsey is passionate about supporting children, teens, and adults in the North Texas area. She combines her knowledge and training to provide a warm, genuine, non-judgmental environment for everyone who enters her office. Kelsey values creating a safe space where clients can experience acceptance and support. She believes healing and growth are possible for everyone regardless of their struggle, and that therapy is a collaborative process between therapist and client.

Kelsey works with clients of all ages, from as young as three through late adulthood. She is very familiar with competitive sports community in North Texas, playing soccer throughout her entire life on club teams, high school teams, and all four years in her time at Austin College. She enjoys working with clients that currently play or have played competitive sports and struggle with performance anxiety across different areas of life.
In addition to working with children and teens, she often works with parents and adults who experienced childhood trauma. She uses attachment based interventions and EMDR to decrease symptoms and improve life satisfaction. Kelsey also uses her dogs, Bowser and Noodle, as therapy dogs in her sessions with clients to bring a sense of comfort while processing difficult topics.

Kelsey began her journey in the mental health field upon graduating from Austin College. She has worked in a variety of clinical settings, including psychiatric hospitals, inpatient and outpatient psychiatric programs, eating disorder hospitals and programs, private practice, and a non-profit agency that provided mental health services to the LGBTQ+ community. Kelsey learned valuable de-escalation techniques in her time in the psychiatric settings, as well as how to support clients of all ages in crisis situations. She has extensive experience working with families and children suffering from eating disorders in an inpatient pediatric setting.

When Kelsey is not working, she enjoys traveling, working out, spending time outside, spending time with her dogs, family, and friends, and attending one of her many book clubs. She continues to play sports and makes sure to find time to sweat each day. Kelsey is passionate about Harry Potter, dogs, and all things mental health.
