Kelsey is passionate about supporting children, teens, and adults in the North Texas area. She combines her knowledge and training to provide a warm, genuine, non-judgmental environment for everyone who enters her office. Kelsey values creating a safe space where clients can experience acceptance and support. She believes healing and growth are possible for all clients regardless of their struggle, and that therapy is a collaborative process between therapist and client.

Kelsey works with clients of all ages, from as young as three through late adulthood. Though Kelsey is a Registered Play Therapist, she often works with parents and adults who experienced childhood trauma. She uses attachment based interventions and EMDR to decrease symptoms and improve life satisfaction.

Kelsey began her journey in the mental health field upon graduating from Austin College. She has worked in a variety of clinical settings, including psychiatric hospitals, inpatient and outpatient psychiatric programs, eating disorder hospitals and programs, private practice, and a non-profit agency that provided mental health services to the LGBTQ+ community. Kelsey learned valuable de-escalation techniques in her time in the psychiatric settings, as well as how to support clients of all ages in crisis situations. She has extensive experience working with families and children suffering from eating disorders in an inpatient pediatric setting.

When Kelsey is not working, she enjoys traveling and spending time with family and friends. Kelsey is a former collegiate soccer athlete and played all four years in her time at Austin College. Kelsey teaches fitness classes at a local fitness studio. She is a huge Harry Potter nerd, enjoys reading, traveling, spending time outside, and spending time with her puppies, Bowser and Noodle.
