As a counselor, I value the individuality of my clients and adapt my approach to fit their unique needs. I recognize that everyone is their own person and one size does not fit all. I aim to view my clients in a way that considers the overall person and their situation when conceptualizing problems, setting goals, or considering diagnosis.

I am a strong believer in finding the “root” of one’s struggles to help understand themselves and examine the “why’s”. While I will walk alongside you throughout your growth journey, I am a strong believer in one’s ability to bring about desired change in their own life. In working with clients, I aim to be a person of support, to challenge you toward personal growth, to suggest coping strategies, and to identify and help remove barriers that are in the way of positive change.

I am a huge believer in using hobbies as coping strategies. When not working, I love to spend time with my dogs, work on craft projects or around the house, listen to Taylor Swift, read and write, play golf, build legos, and discover more hobbies that I can do!
