Hi there! I’m Heather! Thank you for taking the time to prioritize yourself! As a dedicated therapist, I employ a client-centered approach where I collaborate with you to help you develop insight and identify your strengths, empowering you to make the changes in your life. I provide guidance, encouragement and when appropriate, challenge you to overcome life’s obstacles independently.Â
With children and adolescents, I offer a safe place where they are allowed to be themselves through the use of play and expressive art techniques. I aim to foster a nurturing environment that supports a child's growth and happiness. Â
Similarly with adults, we will work together to collaborate on your personal goals for therapy and improve your overall well-being. I offer a compassionate ear and an openness to explore your own uniqueness to help navigate adulthood challenges. Together, we can turn challenges into opportunities for growth and transformation.Â
When I’m not working, I spend the time with my husband and our cat, Gume, or with my twin sister shopping. I enjoy hiking or taking walks outside, working out, watching various crime and horror shows and movies, and cooking while trying new foods throughout the DFW area!Â
