My theoretical orientation of counseling is Jungian, which is based on the premise that people are whole and striving toward individuation. I believe all individuals have the capacity for growth through thoughtful reflection and deliberate action, and I am the fellow traveler along your journey. Counseling is an opportunity for you to work on your concerns in an atmosphere of encouragement and acceptance, and will be a collaborative relationship in which we will identify appropriate goals and strategies to address your concerns.
Outside of work, I spend my time buying books faster than I can read them, hiking and birdwatching, supporting the local live music scene, searching for the scariest scary movie, and being the best dog, tarantula, and plant parent.
