about abby

I work with teens and adults using a trauma-informed, whole-person approach that honors your story beyond just a list of symptoms. Drawing from principles of somatic experiencing, EMDR, and other evidence-informed modalities, I help clients gently process what has been held beneath the surface, at a pace that feels manageable and sustainable.

My areas of focus include complex trauma (cPTSD), family-of-origin dynamics, life transitions, and the everyday challenges that come with being human. My practice focuses on ensuring clients feel heard, understood, and supported as they work towards personal growth and lasting positive change. I tailor therapeutic interventions to meet the specific needs of each individual, recognizing the importance of honoring diverse perspectives and cultural backgrounds. Whether you’re navigating long-standing patterns or a recent shift, therapy with me is a space to get curious, reconnect, and find your footing again.

I believe healing happens in environments where you don’t have to filter yourself. My goal is to create a space that feels safe, welcoming, and free of judgment. I invite you to show up as you are (messy parts included and always welcome). You don’t have to have it all figured out to begin, just a willingness to take that first step, and I’d be honored to walk alongside you when you do.

When not working, I enjoy spending time with my family, traveling, and experiencing music in its many capacities. I find solace in reading all the things, listening to all the podcasts (especially True Crime!), and watching all the documentaries.
