Hello there! My name is Julie, and I am so excited for you to start this journey of self-discovery, healing, and change. Whether it be struggling through your relationships, life changes, trauma, or anxiety, you are not a lost cause. My approach is to allow you to feel safe and be yourself within therapy. My goal is to make sure you walk away from your session feeling seen, known, and listened to.
I am passionate about helping a person find healing whether it be a child, teenager, or adult. In working with children, I use play therapy to engage with them in meaningful ways, allowing them to express themselves and process their emotions in a safe environment. Similarly, for teenagers and adults I allow the space to be one of safety and security in order to express fully. Every person in the world is a unique individual that has purpose and value, but sometimes it is hard to see this on our own. I would love to partner with you on this journey of finding, mending together, and shaping who you are, and who you want to be.
In my free time, you can find me watching movies, walking my dog, Nellie, or laughing with friends. Whether you find me in the therapy room or at home, you can trust that I am authentically myself, always.
